We will resist those who are preparing to make the world we live in a man's world.

Harvey Weinstein's 23-year conviction in New York City, on charges of rape and sexual assault of more than 80 women in 2020, was overturned by the Court of Appeals on Thursday.
The reason for the reversal is that the trial judge decided that it did not provide a fair trial. In other words, it is deemed pointless to carry the disgusting things he did in the past to the present day.
This result, along with the outcome of the trial of Bill Cosby, who served only three of the 10-year sentence he received for sexual assault charges, will do nothing more than encourage sexual assault offenders. Harvey Weinstein's 16-year sentence in Los Angeles, which he received separately from New York, will continue.
Weinstein's lawyer described the decision as "a victory for every criminal defendant in the state of New York."
Tarana Burke, founder of the MeToo movement, made statements about the decision via the BBC.
'This is not a blow to the movement. It is a clarion call and we are prepared to answer that call.
We are devastated for the survivors who are connected to this case and the survivors who had found some solace and catharsis in the original verdict around Harvey Weinstein.
Many people, many survivors and those who love and support survivors probably thought that the original verdict meant that there was going to be a change, that it marked a change and marked a difference in how this justice system was going to move and operate.
This moment, and this decision, actually means that we have a movement. Ten years ago, we could not get a man like Harvey Weinstein into a courtroom'
